SUN City Gaming hosts Celebrity Cup Golf tournament |

City Gaming hosted this year’s Celebrity Cup Golf tournament on the Lost City Golf Course recently.
This tournament brings together some of South Africa’s best sporting celebrities and a handful of select Most Valued Guests (MVG) invitees to participate in a challenging day of golf.
The game started at 10.30am with 16 Fourball teams participating. Celeb players included Victor Matfield, Fourie Du Preez, Morne Steyn, Clive Rice, Ray Mordt, Marc Batchelor, Corrie Sanders, Brian Mitchell, Shaun Bartlett, Mark Williams, Graeme Joffe, Darren Simpson, Terry Paine and Steven Jack.
“Pivot and Divot and keep your arms straight. Don’t forget to transfer your weight. Keep your head still and your eye on the ball. Then you might find that golf’s fun after all.â€
These were the words quoted to the players as they teed off on the Platinum graded 18-hole course.
The day ended with a prize giving ceremony where some of the rugby and boxing champions won prizes, proving that they are multi-talented.
The Celebrities also decided to try out the Can Am Spyder Roadster valued at R265 900, which is first prize in Sun City’s Dream Car draw. This quarterly draw is hosted in the Sun City Superbowl and will take place on November 7 at 6pm. Total value of Prizes: R1 006 179.00 |

THE ABBA show started in 1985 in Christchurch New Zealand for a six-week cabaret season. It was so successful after the six weeks that the season was extended for six months. After this time the show went on tour and 24 years later, it is still on tour!
